Creating a Comfortable Home Environment with Casablanca Fan Company

Casablanca Fan Company

Designing Spaces

Correspondent Art Edmonds meets with John Alexander, CEO of the Casablanca Fan Company, to speak about the design and functionality of fans, and how Casablanca Fans’ designs provide high end style and breakthrough technology that incorporates lighting, and engineering that addresses air movement and energy saving. John explains, “We believe the ceiling is the 5th dimension in décor, and deserves to be included into the overall look and feel of a space.”

Casablanca has a unique design team that draw inspiration form the world around them, versus simply thinking about ceiling fan design. They pull design experience from Paris fashion, and designing tableware for the Vatican, for example. They are the ideal blend of function, décor, and energy efficiency, even earning the fans an ENERGY STAR® rating. John also points out the features of the fans that are being installed in the Lunt family’s home.

Military Fans

Enhance your home with artfully crafted ceiling fans that fit your taste and each room's design, like Casablanca Fan Co. did for a deserving military family.

When the Designing Spaces team embarks on redesigning a family’s space, our goal is to transform a house into a home by enhancing the overall ambiance and providing unique decorating touches.

That is exactly why we included ceiling fans in our latest project! Adding a ceiling fan to your space can enrich your home by providing comfort, style, energy savings and elegance.

We sought out to partner with a company that embodies all of those characteristics, and we were thrilled to work with Casablanca® Fan Company on this project. This past summer, Casablanca joined forces with the Designing Spaces team for our “Designing Spaces of Hope – Military Makeover” to help renovate the Summerville, SC townhouse of wounded veteran, Stephen Lunt and his young family.

“Designing Spaces of Hope – Military Makeover” three part series chronicles the home renovation for Purple Heart recipient Stephen Lunt, his wife Ashley and their son. Lunt was awarded the Purple Heart after his service in Afghanistan where he was forced to fight an insurgent in hand-to-hand combat, resulting in numerous injuries and multiple surgeries.

The second segment in the series will showcase how Designing Spaces worked with the Casablanca Fan Company to enhance this deserving family’s home with artfully crafted fans that match the design and integrity of each unique room. Casablanca worked directly with the Lunt’s family to select the fans that perfectly fit the family’s taste and the interior design style of the remodel.

John Alexander, CEO of Hunter Fan Company, joined the series to talk about how Casablanca fans bring a perfect blend of form and function to become the centerpiece of any room, and how customers at home can custom design their own fans to meet their every décor preference and trend.

Tune-in starting Friday, November 21st to Designing Spaces airing on Lifetime, to see the series unfold and to hear Stephen’s heart-warming, inspirational story. The series will be hosted by “The Gunny,” R. Lee Ermey, and don’t miss Casablanca Fan Company and John Alexander in Episode #2.
