Field correspondent Art Edmonds meets with Roy Gibson, President of Military Benefit Association, to talk Life Insurance and the military family. Roy explains how Military Benefits Association,a not-for-profit organization answers their own call of duty by giving back to fellow brothers and sisters in uniform. MBA coverage is exclusively available to military men and women ages 18 to 69 who are active duty, Ready Reservist, or Retired. Also, Roy explains how some military service people are more at risk of being killed if and when deployed, and despite the circumstances, they are still covered. When asked about signing up for life insurance, Roy explains how the process is made easy for military men and women. It is important to plan for the unexpected, ensuring family and loved ones are taken care of should the unexpected happen. This goes for ALL families, not only military families.
Well Deserved Benefits
The U.S. military protects our freedoms every day, and Military Benefit Association wants to protect their families in return.
The choice to enroll in one of branches of the United States Military is a big decision that involves not only your loved ones, but also everyone.
The men and women of the U.S. military put themselves on the frontline of defense for all of us, every single one of us residing in this country. They have to be apart from their loved ones, they are put into some of the most dangerous situations imaginable and they will stand right in front of a civilian to protect them from harm’s way.
Shouldn’t protecting them, and their families, be a priority as well?
The Military Benefit Association thinks so, that is why they make it easy and affordable for men and women in service to get life insurance.
Because Military Benefit Assoc. believes in seeing veterans helping veterans, Roy Gibson, a veteran himself, was drawn to our “Designing Spaces of Hope – Military Makeover” series, which shows the step-by-step makeover of a Summerville S.C. townhouse for a family of a young wounded veteran, Stephen Lunt, who sacrificed for our country.
When a service person for our country is on active duty, potentially in a dangerous situation, they know the worst could happen to them, but they want the best for the family they would leave behind, just like any one of us. That is why the Military Benefit Association helps military families both plan for the worst, but also live the best way they can:
o No war clauses
o Insurance tailored for military personnel
o No exclusions for combat zones
o Offers affordable life insurance to ensure the future of a military family who has lost their loved one in the call of duty no matter how high risk their assignment or position is, giving a bit of peace of mind to the whole family.
In addition to offering life insurance to our service men and women, the Military Benefit Association offers many resources to help military families — estate planning, financial planning, wwweducation on wellness, health, career planning and more.
Finally, in order to help military families make the most of the down time they have together, membership with the Military Benefit Association has added perks like great discounts on resorts, spas, hotels and more for military personnel so they can get well deserved relaxation and time together that they can afford.
If you are currently an active service member of the United States military, or have a family member who is, visit http://www.militarybenefit.org to learn more about coverage options and utilize their many resource tools.
