QUICK & EASY SNACKS
EASY RANCH OYSTER CRACKER SNACK
Ingredients:
½ cup of oil (I prefer Olive Oil.)
1-teaspoon garlic powder
1-teaspoon dill weed
1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch mix
1package oyster crackers (12 oz.)
Combine the first 4 ingredients. Make sure to stir this well. Pour this mixture over the oyster crackers and again; stir well.
Meme says if you let this set for a few hours it enhances the flavor! So find an airtight container and you are ready for some entertaining!
EASY GRANOLA TRAIL MIX SNACK
Ingredients:
1 package (16 oz.) banana-nut granola
1 package (15 oz.) raisins
1 package (14 oz.) milk chocolate M&M's
1 can (12 oz.) honey roasted peanuts
In a large bowl, combine all of these ingredients together. Store in an airtight container. This recipe is forgiving and you can substitute various ingredients. Have fun with it! Takes 5 minutes to make this snack!
EASY TACO CRACKERS SNACK
Ingredients:
3 packages (10 oz. each) oyster crackers
¾ cup vegetable oil (I use Olive Oil)
1 envelope Taco seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon chili powder
Put the oyster crackers in a large roasting pan; drizzle the oil over them. Then combine all of the seasonings and sprinkle this over the oiled crackers. Toss to coat them well. Bake @ 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Stir this once while baking.
When the crackers have cooled, store them in an airtight container. The flavor of this easy snack is unbelievable. Bet you can't eat just one handful!
The beauty of making these easy make- ahead snacks is the time involved. In less than two hours you can make all three of these snacks and have them stored and ready to go.
