Reducing Anxiety in Shelter Pets
McKamey Animal Center adoption counselor Jamie Westerwal notices two dogs up for adoption are showing signs of anxiety. Karen Walsh and Jamie meet with Veterinarian Dr. Jeff Nichol to appraise the symptoms, such as excessive licking and chewing of their fur, trembling, destructive behavior, crying, and barking. Dietary changes can help, but Dr. Nichol introduces Anxitane® Chewable Tablets as a dietary supplement to help reduce fear and anxiousness.
