An Education on Insulation for Today’s Homeowner
Designing Spaces Think Green contacted the Spray Foam Coalition at the American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry to learn more about the positive attributes of spray polyurethane foam insulation, Think Green visits a house undergoing remodeling where spray foam insulation plays a key role. Allyson Wilson from the American Chemistry Council serves as our guide through the world of spray foam insulation and its “green” benefits. The end result is a better air seal for the entire house, and the conversion of an attic space into a recreational space for the family.
Insulation can be expensive and difficult to install, and may have a minimal impact on keeping the energy efficiency flowing in your home.
Spray Foam Coalition’s Spray Polyurethane Foam will put those issues to rest. Their selection of products and applicators will keep a home or building properly insulated and will make any insulation project a worthwhile investment that will last for years to come.
Spray Foam Coalition’s Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) insulation will provide a home or building with:
• Improved energy efficiency
• Improved building strength
• A more comfortable indoor environment
• Better opportunities to save money on utility, building maintenance, and construction costs.
SPF can be used in new construction or added to existing homes to provide an air seal and to effectively insulate the home.
Make sure to tune into Designing Spaces™ on Friday, April 26th at 7:30 am (ET/PT) to watch the “Increasing the Comfort and Energy Efficiency of Your Home, An Education on Insulation for Today’s Homeowners” segment. Allyson Wilson, manager of the American Chemistry Council’s plastics division, will demonstrate the Spray Foam Coalition’s Spray Polyurethane Foam insulation in action.
The show is a part of the Designing Spaces™ Think Green® series.
