Welcome to Boca Raton, Florida. Check out a new edition of Designing Spaces: Spaces of Hope, as our heartfelt team transforms the Place of Hope campus, giving underprivileged children a creative place to thrive. With designer Joseph Pubillones spearheading the design elements, this is sure to be a makeover this community will never forget.

We’re sitting down with founder/CEO Charles L. Bender to talk about what makes Place of Hope special. In fact, Place of Hope is the largest faith-based family-style, state-licensed children’s organization in Palm Beach County. Children and families can find dignity, guidance, and hope through various programs and efforts, such as family outreach and intervention; housing and support services for homeless families; foster care recruitment and support; and hope and healing opportunities for children and families who have been traumatized by abuse and neglect throughout the region.

From beautiful landscaping to new paint, furniture, and light fixtures, the team plans to transform the kitchen, library, and children’s nursery, with the goal of creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Together with interior designer Joseph Pubillones, we’re ready to get to work.

Then, with all of the design elements in place, we’re installing light fixtures in all three rooms – generously donated by Eric Lebersfeld and his team at Capitol Lighting, right here in South Florida.

Stay tuned for the big reveal at the end. You don’t want to miss this!
